  1. Unfortunately that's their job. They protect and serve oligarchs. Not regular citizens. They've literally used that excuse many times in court too, that they don't actually have a duty to intervene to save people. Like that mass shooting in the Tx school a year or two ago (can't remember name of the town) where all the cops stood around. There's been multiple stories in the last 2 years about cops standing there watching people drown too. And many more.

  2. The argument about wait times is so disgusting. Purposely denying people access to medical care so that you can see a doctor faster is insane. Plus wait times are due to lack of pay and cost cutting, which is happening everywhere because right wingers don't want to fund anything properly and only care about making money and not about providing quality care.
