  1. I seem to recall a year ago it was republicans that were trying to pass bills to allow for lowering standards for pilots and do away with pilot training hour requirements. Funny how everyone forgot about that and the cuts GOP always forces on everything. Sept 27, 2023 - "Buttigieg says shutdown could decimate hiring of air traffic controllers" "For air traffic control, the agency has been about about 3,000 positions short." May 5, 2023 - "FAA leader warns of summer travel ‘havoc’ if GOP cuts pass" Didn't Trump just do a government spending freeze meaning no new ATC and no pay for those on the job? I'm sure those things have no impact though.
