  2. That's a great point, contracting is definitely destroying the quality of jobs as well. Everything is contracted or double and triple contracted out, it's insane. I work for a health insurance company and I'm double contracted out and every aspect of the business is also contracted out. Just for one health insurance plan there's at least 16 different vendors and people with the plans experience data breaches all the time because their personal and financial information is going through 16 different companies and they have to keep a list of a dozen different phone numbers when they call to get a question answered about their health plan. Plus being contracted means I don't qualify for the federal worker minimum wage even though it's for a medicare advantage plan. (MA plans are also scams btw).
