  1.  @Zach-ju5vi  The problem is that when the bank collapses we the taxpayer will have to foot the bill to bail them out. Even if our personal money is guaranteed up to 250k, we have a banking system called fractional reserve banking which means that even if every deposit was 250k or less, 90% of the banks assets would still not be covered by FDIC.
