That's not how it works at all. And if you bought in the "early days" you'd be up significantly, there's no way you'd be down. I'm not even trying to defend crypto, I agree that at least the vast majority is a blatant scam. You as a seller do not have to process anything, let alone the entire history of transactions ever done. Miners do all the book keeping logging/validating transactions and they are just processing new transactions, not every transaction ever done every time there's a new transaction. There would be no point to that as you can't change past transactions.
