  1. Free market doesn't make something sustainable. Just check out literally any big industry today.... Big oil, agriculture (especially animal ag. and palm oil ag.) any bank (2008? literally a million cases of banks committing fraud or manipulating markets), housing, roads (the way we build in the US is based on infinite growth and is therefore inherently unsustainable, I mean we can only have so many people on Earth and so much land which decreases as water levels rise), health care (terrible in the US, one of the worst in the world, at some point people will wake up and rebel), etc. etc. Free market only prioritizes making money for whoever owns it in the short term, nothing else.
