  1. That's not really the big issue. Who cares if we ever find where each piece of DNA came from and from what animal it mutated in. We know for a fact that every virus/pandemic in the last 150 years have jumped from animals to humans. Yet we still put thousands of animals together living in their own shit and then kill them and we are surprised when these petri dishes form another virus? It's stupidity to the max. The real issue is why are we not trying to stop the next one? Why are we ramping up meat production? Why are wet markets and factory farms open and doing as much business as possible? We kill 70 Billion land animals a year and that number will only increase as more people are born and more nations become wealthy. But we have already run out of land. So instead we cut down the rainforest to grow soy for animal feed. See, it's all just a never ending cycle that will produce more pandemics in a shorter time span between each new outbreak.
