The bible wasn't written by Jesus, it was written by a bunch of other people who claimed to know what their god wanted them to write.

@AnexoRialto That's exactly his point. lol Jesus preached love and acceptance while the bible preaches slavery, rape, homophobia and no rights for women.

@lizicadumitru9683 Anytime money is exchanged taxes are involved why should it be any different in church? Besides I remember something about Jesus flipping tables in the church "Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of robbers" I think non-profits an charities should not be taxed but that's only because they don't make money from it and they use that money to provide a service that betters society. Religion has been more detrimental to society than anything else ever.
