  1. Comedy must be truthful. It highlights human flaws that we all recognize...be we are Back or white, there are customs and behaviors specific to our tribe. Hanks was not funny because it was not true so no one recognized or identified with it.

  2. Hanks : Be man enough to take a punch back or stop exposing yourself to criticism. Accept the consequence of your choices. Pretending to be humorous is not being humorous. We laugh at ourselves when we recognize our self. Tom's presentation was Tom's beliefs about Mega folks, not a representation of the characteristics of MAGA people. There actually is funny characteristics of any group, including MAGA group....but Tom did not present that truth....which we all would have laughed at.
