  1. If the grocer, like Krogers, is paying more for the merchandise, Kroger will raise product price. Product price has increased because production price and transportation cost have increased. Cut off U.S. energy production of oil, import foreign oil at a higher price, it costs more to drive the truck carrying our groceries. Shame on any American that does not know HOW an economy works. If 20 people entered your home to live with you, it will cost you because resources will be depleted.
