  1. I do think there are people that don't vote beause they believe their candidate will win. Or they dont vote because they believe thier candidate will lose.This is true for voters of both parties. What is unkown is how large are those groups? Big enough to affect the election results? If the 2020 election results was legitimate, could the result be that many Republicans did not vote? I wonder.

  2. For many voters, it makes no difference who runs against Trump. These voters will vote for that candidate. On polls: We are never shown the questions on the polls. Its key to any assessment of the meaning of the results. Polls are predictions, that may or may not be an accurate prediction of outcome. Hopefully poll results do not affect the decision to vote.
