Think about it: You are sitting with your enemy/opponent for the single purpose of a peace deal.....and you state repeatedly all the past wrong historical actions of your opponent. How likely is a sucessful deal? Humiliation of an enemy is a mistake. WWII, happened because Europe humiliated Germany after WW II.
