  3. Repuican leaders: Stop explaining and defending (to Democrats and press) actions intended or acted on. Talk to the people that elected you. "We are doing xyz, as promised." As far as states (Mass) pushing back against deportations, ignore and push forward. While the Feds can't force cooperation, the Feds do not need cooperation to act. Trust the people that elected you. They understand.
