  1. Poles don't influence votes. But pole numbers do affect party and candidate behavior....often not in their best interest. When a party or candidate do not understand human behavior, they will make strategic mistakes. There is what one wants to believe versus reality of what is true.

  2. One common argument is, no one has the constitutional right to (falsely) scream "fire," in a crowded building. False. The U.S.Constutution does not address this. As things stand, if you are injured by a stamped of panic, you have a civil suit. The exception would be if a state has created criminal law on this. Unfortunately, this False narrative has been used as a defense of anti-free speech claim.

  3. J.D. Vance is an example for us all We can be too quick to judge and speak....before we know enough. What matters is not being wrong....but our honesty about it. My reasons for not voting for Trump in 2016: 1. I believed he was a liberal 2. I did not believe he would do anything he claimed he would do. After experiencing 4 years of Trumps administration, I changed my mind and voted for him in 2020. While I still see evidence of some liberal beliefs, most of his policies are conservative. And he does execute most of what he promises. Don't be too proud to admit errors or mistakes.
