  1. This is not history. It is one small groups take on a 100 year progressive event. The park was built up with rubble fill. During that process it was no mans land. So people built houses out of junk on top of the rubble fill. There would be the want to keep the water table low to deal with the sewage and refuse. So they would dump clean rubble fill into low points. The park is about 20 to 30 metres built up and the buildings around settled by a large amount. There are a lot of tunnels going under the park too.

  2. Before I watch the video. Its a gambling thing to do with odds. 33% chance just went to 50%. I like those odds!! Its not about being absolute its about choices. 1 of 3 is worse odds.

  3.  @emmettolson3499  According to a couple of letters. But what you might find is people looked at it, said it cant be true must be magic or trick. As logically and physically it doesnt make sense. But maths and odds say you have a better chance and so far it has worked like magic. Indecisive seems to win rather than sticking with your guns. Seems strange but also makes sense if you write it down. What is better. 1 out of 3 or 1 out of 2? Thats all there is to this. A better puzzle I found was the 2 doors 2 guards problem. 1 only lies 1 only tells the truth. 1 door to freedom 1 door to death. How do you get away alive. Waiting till lunch break isnt an option and once you choose you will be escorted no running back out or peeking in etc.

  4. Well someone who knows she is wrong by getting 3 goats in a row using her method. Its only good for the first try, the odds get worse every repeat. Could be something simple like the color of the cards draws your attention to the right card first pick. So changing means you are wrong. As in the 3 cards pattern makes you choose a particular card in the pattern. If that card is always the car, you coming up goats if you switch. If the cards are alwaya random. Having 3 cards you have to pick a different card every time as you always have a 1 in 3 till you get 1 in 6 on a second try after 1 fail 1 in 9 after the second fail.
