  4. Looking at the HDD market, it is quite stable now. Owning a NAS, a good time to upgrade. Can someone tell me what happened to the SSHD, you know the HDD with SSD cache? Or doesn't that matter these days either?

  5. Oh the idea alone, making over 10Ghz single core processors the standard... or 15ghz.. or 30ghz... do I want to see that powerbill? I am happy that wall was hit! And we instead have multi core, and the ability to put some of those cores on low power/sleep mode.

  6. Yup if you are at the top for too long you both become blind to what changes are needed. And blind to the market. "Too big to fail" or Too big to change when the world is changing. Happy to see that AMD crawled out under the shadow of Intel and got big. Look they make mistakes too but... And yes ARM, the birth of ARM. And .. the return to ARM :)

  7. A lot of bad financial choices, but then again, were there other choices... no not really. Chinese Financial Systems are fraught with problems and things that are set up weird. So if a business owner has to play the game smarter then the bank, then that is what they do.
