Long ago I bought a book about coding Turbo Pascal. Hey, no program ever came out running... but at least I try to make sense of things. Same with HTML, pre HTML5. I could make basic simple websites. Even fiddled with CSS. Was it not professional? Yup! Totally Amateur hour. But at least I tried to make send of what I was doing. I wouldn't feel right to just push a button and get out twenty lines. Not understand what it does.

And those trains will be able to replace flights. So we need more lines like that between big European cities.

Pretty much you get A or B an both are not good for people or nature. And yes Diesel with its good low torque power is a good choice for SOME types of use. High way miles for instance where they can drive nice and low and still have more then enough power.

Nice Yeah this technology is probably still far away! We do though have High Speed Trains and if places like China and Europe can work on those it might work in other places too. Yeah in Europe they try to lower the amount of flights. One way is to offer an in EU network of High Speed Trains. Speedy enough to replace a plane flight.

I love it when people say "AI will fix everything" And though sure it is a tool. But like any tool... there are limits. And at what price will AI even succeed? I don't mean SKYNET here, I mean the power required to do those AI-calculations.

My problem with AI is, it is a bit like Crypto. It is new, it offers new ways to do things and.... yeah it is really not needed. Not at all. AI is like a solution without a problem to fix... And as creative person, I can say, it is also terrible at its job. Look coding wise, if you open a { you need to make sure it is also } soo... why not automatically put down at }? But whole code?

I am happy that Amazon requires, REQUIRES, the author of a book to mark if they used GENERATIVE AI. Because there is a lot of stuff on amazon that definitely hasn't seen a human.

Oh I have watched this from aside, the promised the future, the ... it isn't here yet. Well there are a few weak implementations, mostly used to move money around... yeah. And those get hacked, a lot, hooray. Then we have those stupid pictures... which are worthless, hooray. There was someone who said, "it would be used for business" ... yeah not in this state. The reality that you can't store big stuff on an actual block chain, the whole holy grail of this tech. You store LINKS to things, which can be lost or changed. So... much like web 1.0 dead links.

Ah good, don't get me wrong 100Gbyte Blu-rays are something... Also expensive. But, oof, it isn't enough!

Things go up, things go down, the earth still will spin. It is just us that have to adjust to the new news. With the overall temperature rising in Europe some countries that never could make wine, are making their own... On the other side food that loves a good cold are not doing too well. But we adjust, and we still get snow, ice, and cold. Only a lot more sudden and worse :!

I did try a thing. I asked ChatGPT to make a folder about three different things. And it came out all about the same... except one issue. One was an object you might buy, the second closer to a religion, the third a non existing fantasy creature. Yet the output was 85% the same.

AI is awesome isn't it... we have seen it going bad so quickly. I remember Tay Ai. Ah, such days... And now we had Gemini AI, less said about that. Though very funny to see! Yeah AI can't be trusted, because.. "it is in the data model" but can you trace it back? No! It is somewhere in the data model and once the AI model is poisoned. It is done for!

Crypto Bros these days are all AI bros. ... it is pathetic. It is yes a crazy hype. "AI WILL DO EVERYTHING." Yeah no!
