  3. Oh he knows economy all to well. The thing is he made a really stupid bet and lost. Russia already was getting weaker slowly but surely. It already was losing out... so this war was a land/power grab to rejuvenate Russia. Instead, it drained the last remaining life out of it.

  4. One thing is said, IF russia would have gotten hands on most if not all of Ukraine in lets say three weeks... it would pay itself back long term in what the country had to offer. Its valuable resources, workers, industry, etc would now go to Russia's support line. The problem is, Russia failed, and now is stuck in a long expensive war. Worse, it made Ukraine strong allies with the west, and even gotten the Neutrals to join the Western Bonds fully. So... future invasions will be even worse for Russia. They actually did it, russia got the EU bunch of idiots to agree upon one thing.
