  1. I will say one thing about Word Processors, most people only use 5% of what you get with them. Maybe 10% if they are a bit more advanced. And for writing an one or few pages for office or informal, they are fine. Yes, many will have to learn Write first, tweak later. I use Scrivener for BIG projects. the writing stage is simple and limited, but the way it organizes things is what really helps seal the deal. And at time I need a well formatted PDF... go Compile Mode. Oh a word doc... Compile Mode. Epub? Compile Mode. As you point out, you first write, then later make it look nice. I tried LaTex, it is eeeh... erm, well.. COMPLEX!
