  1. So now they are exporting the EV Car Graveyards to EUROPE. Great... just great, just what we needed. And I agree with some here, so you bought a EV car from China, cool... now how to get it fixed when it breaks down, and reserve parts, and... oh yeah about that. EUROPEAN car networks are REQUIRED after a model is kicked to the bucket to have like 10-15 years of reserve parts ready.

  2. That is a trick Chinese companies use. See investors from outside china are the LAST to ever see their money back, aka never. China protects its own! So investing in Chinese companies means taking a huge risk, you are the very last to recieve any money!

  3. And now those cars are worthless, since they require an APP to run... which doesn't works anymore. Isn't that the joy of buying an EV knowing that the APP stopped working.

  4. I wouldn't trust BYD to give support long time. Because once BYD crashes and burns down, like so much in china, who is left for the warrantees. European business selling them already have a hard time repairing them because, china doesn't wants to share data with Europe.

  5. Not just EV's. The moment you drive away in your fresh new car, poof... a big chunk of its value is gone. But, you just began paying that loan off. But yes, EV's being pretty expensive to start with, got a lot to lose down the road. Worse, The value of a few years old EV might be even WORSE then a few years old ICE car. Because the ever hanging sword of damocles, the battery, or that the model is so "old" by now that buyers don't want it anymore .
