Silence is a great weapon in any interrogation I guess, it's almost like if you ask them something then they answer you, but you're totally quiet, it's like without saying a word telling them "Doubt it" so then they say more, causing themselves to dig an even deeper hole for themselves. Still silence. "What you don't believe me?" Still silence. "I didn't do it OK". Instantly he's like building this hole around himself that didn't exist and it's all because of the implied disbelief which was created by the silence.

@gotanyketchup3422 Especially if they're guilty. Implied disbelief by silence to a guilty party will just cause them to become more and more defensive, the more defensive and agitated the more likely they actually are hiding something... so yeah.

Well, normally when they say "If they'll do it for you, they'll do it to you" referring to men who leaves their wives usually for younger looking women, only to do it again to them once a certain amount of time has passed. Rarely does it mean "Hey lady, if he's willing to kill his wife and basically three kids for you, guess what happens to you and yours in the extraordinarily unlikely event he got away with this to begin with?"

I hope that feeling you get when you like get caught smoking pot or whatever is like 1,000,000 times worse when he finally feels that cold steel cuffs snap around his wrists and realizing the reality of the rest of his life is going to be very, very, very, very difficult to survive.

Man if he's afraid of it being too hot outside on an August day I hope he realizes how little of a priority good air conditioning is in most facilities he'd be looking at basically anywhere for the crimes he's accused of. Enjoy the refrigeration while you can, scumbag
