By definition introverts don't need the company of others as much as extroverts do. I am not saying you're NOT an introvert, but the kid who wants to be accepted into a social group at recess is probably moreso just shy than they are introverted. It's not the only "symptom" or whatever of being an introvert but generally speaking introverts are perfectly fine being by themselves for the most part. And a lot of the times they even prefer it. Just saying.

Oh lord, do I really have to explain figures of speech versus having actual statistical numerical data? No dude, I am just relaying that I personally don't think someone like myself as someone who is I guess more traditionally "loner-ish" is gonna benefit from getting on stage, let alone taking on a job as a damn stripper. A male stripper, at that, in my case. I mean, whatever floats your boat dude but again I don't think I am alone in thinking that you may actually be in the minority when it comes to that. A STRIPPER. I will say maybe get on stage in healthier environments may be the better way to go, anyway, again I think you're in the minority as far as that being the remedy for whatever life problems you have. Nobody wants their daughter or worse their son to end up on the pole, or whatever, so to speak. But to each their own :)

^ Vidur Said literally no true introvert, ever. Introverts are just that. Introverted. They don't need time to express themselves, they need the opportunity to not have to express anything at all. To be left alone, for the most part, which makes activities like school and by extension school lunch even more challenging than it would be for someone who is otherwise "normal" or in this case "extroverted". If you're about to make the claim that you're an introvert yourself, just realize that if you enjoy socializing more often than not especially in a major public setting like a school or a classroom even then you were either "mis-diagnosed" or you're in the minority, to the extent that you're probably more extroverted than not. Source: I've been introverted my entire life and I never complained once about not being given the proper "time" to express my "opinions" or my "feelings". I damn sure wouldn't have said all of these things as eloquently as I just did using regular speech; writing is another thing that comes more easily to introverts. If that's what you mean by being granted the proper amount of time to express themselves, then sure, but I am operating under the assumption that you were referring to normal speech patterns versus written communication. Not even in the texting era do the definitions of introverts change.

99% of loners would not be comfortable on stage with little to no clothes on. Don't get me wrong, I am happy it worked out for you, but I personally would find it nothing short of humiliating to be on stage, semi to fully naked, in front of any number of people. And I feel pretty confident most other people with antisocial personalities would feel the same.

Honestly I think they should give kids more options as far as WHERE they want to eat. The extroverted folks are the people who actually love the concept of a cafeteria and being in a room with all of one's friends and maybe even a few enemies. In other words, other people in general. But for the introverted folks, maybe have alternative choices that are more quiet for them to eat. You don't get your driver's license until at least sophomore year, in some states not till like Junior or Senior year. Anyway when I was in school they let you drive off and go grab lunch wherever you wanted as long as you were able to get back in time. Barring that though, let them go to the bleachers or to a quiet nature area or anything, whatever makes them feel most comfortable, because I think forcing people into social situations is what gets a lot of people in trouble. Those "eyes" you feel may not even actually be on you at all but what I think you're really feeling is peer pressure. So yeah, I am with Amazart, the more you can tune that out the better. Trust me, once you get out of high school life will improve for you significantly, starting with the social aspect, something middle and high school are notoriously difficult for being.
