I don't think it's so much that they're FOR Iran as much as they're against America. Russia can't wait for someone to throw the first punch, doesn't matter who it is. They want revenge for 1991, and that's actually one of the #1 things I'm concerned about if anything happens. The world stage is basically set for WW3 and if it does come sooner than later it will be bad for the entire world, but especially of course the people who get involved as combatants. On all sides.
