  3. I do think the US government is terrified of crypto and are especially afraid people will use it to evade taxes (their biggest fear of all). I don't know how John McAfee ties in with all of that other than he's a high profile user and advocate of crypto, and they're looking to make an example out of him. I think they've been looking for an opportunity to go after him for a long ass time now, though, too.
