I won't accept their apology until they bring the old fries back. Seriously though Burger King hasn't been good or relevant in over a decade if not two decades now so who gives a fuck? They knew what they were doing. They tweeted that on International Women's Day KNOWING they would get a whole shitload of grief from people for it, but you know what they say -- "no such thing as bad press". The fact is, I bet the vast majority of their customers are men anyway and they're certainly not known for being the classiest of people. It remains to be seen if this will backfire on them or not. At the end of the day I don't care, I think it was a desperate attempt at shock branding.

Somebody at Wendy's corporate is designing a cartoon of the titular Wendy kicking the Burger King's ass in a cage match or something. And as she's holding him with his arm behind his head and punching him in the kidney, she's taunting him "Where do I belong again, your highness? Tell me where I belong again one more goddamn time."
