I would ask him if he ever like sorta befriended any of the people he was undercover against, to the point that he even kinda low key regretted it when it came time to put handcuffs on them all. That's the risk with undercovers is if they spend enough time on the other side, they may find they don't remember who they really are anymore.

@jonathanvo132 something about Jason Bateman's toenails being pulled off is the kind of thing that will make my toenails hurt too lol. Like IDK if you've seen Game of Thrones or not but I had no problem with the combat violence but there were a few torture sequences I had to basically leave the room for. I dunno why I am OK with one but not the other.

Care to tell me about where this happens so I can... maybe skip it? I do not have any interest in torture scenes

I love how they asked him about the ending of Thrones, before he had said it was "perfect" and now they're like "Have you changed your mind since then?" and his answer is ".... How dare you? Take me to jail." In other words, he's like everyone else and thinks the ending of Thrones was atrociously bad but being the consummate professional, he has to go on the record and say he thought it was good. Openly criticizing something you are in, or were in, can be career suicide for actors.

I actually know the guy who plays the cop in real life. I mean we're not like friends or anything, he doesn't come to my barbecues or myself to his or anything, but I do know him. He goes to the same church my parents used to go to.

@MrYeahyuhhh I mean, Donnie Brasco is a movie based on a real life story about an undercover who is tasked with winning the trust of this Mafioso so he can then take him down, but he actually develops a real friendship with him and ends up having to wrestle with himself morally speaking on whether he wants to switch sides or not. So yeah I think it does happen, it may not be common or anything but it does happen.

@jackbauer555 I just saw the torture scene as well and that was the first thing I noticed. He didn't even walk like that foot was in pain.

I don't know what the old fashioned tube TV was supposed to bring to the piece, other than making it harder to see some of these movies especially the modern ones that ... don't look right on that kind of TV.
