It's kind of sad IMO that we spent the last 50 years, the most technologically advanced years in our history by far, and we didn't do hardly any research on Cannabis or other cannabis associated products. So a lot of these "what we know vs what we don't know" bullet points could be things we do know instead. And I think the potential for the plants is so great I don't even think it's a stretch to say that some lives may have even been saved in that span of time, but no rather than studying it we collected it, threw it in evidence bags and threw the people we found it on in prison. Nothing about the drug war makes any sense.

He needs to figure out a better place to rob people than college campuses. Less so in the USA (although far from being an exception to the rule) most college kids are all uniltarally broke. I am glad he didn't get frustrated and shoot you instead, but he probably legitimately believed you and your choice of words may literally have saved you a mugging if not your actual life.

It's pretty interesting actually, Boardwalk Empire one of the main characters actually works for one of the first "birth control" clinics (it wasn't a birth control clinic per se but it was part of the same idea that would become that, and they even distributed pamphlets in secret that detailed how to basically prevent pregnancy with household objects -- Lysol in particular).

The graphics and other devices used by this channel to present information are unparalleled by any other channel IMO.

@snorlaxxin8875 Yeah hearing that poor child's agonizing screams triggers something inside of me. That was extremely dark. If Putin wants to wage war, so be it, but do NOT intentionally go after innocent civilians which also include the most vulnerable in society like the elderly and children. He wants to make every single frontline fighter in Ukraine worry about what is happening to their family at home which is why he's going after civilians.

MDP And you know that I think Putin will use them if he senses that he's about to lose. He's gonna be the definition of a sore loser if that's the case. The other scenario I see him using them is if NATO gets involved one way or another which is why they are playing everything so safe right now. They won't even close off the airspace to Russian fighter jets over Ukraine which Ukraine was practically begging for. Russia would say that is an act of war on their part (which, honestly, it kind of is even if I would be in support of them doing so) but the sad thing is Ukraine had the chance to side EU and join NATO but they never did so right now neither of them really owe Ukraine anything. But honestly IMO Putin won't stop there. It may not happen right away but he wants Ukraine mainly because it's the key to Europe as a whole.

That's beautiful though, when Colombia needed help -- Venezuela embraced them all with open arms. Now that Venezuela needs help, Colombia is proving that they've never forgotten their neighbors' generosity.

One interesting thing about Putin is nobody knows just how much money he has. The rumor is he is the richest man in the world, by far, after having enriched himself by plundering his own country as a KGB agent before the Soviet Union collapsed.

@LastingAscension Yeah I agree with this. I saw that video, it's about 30 minutes long and is hands down the BEST representation of what is going on there that you can currently find. It explains it all.

It's as bad if not worse than the inflation crisis that Zimbabwe had not long ago. In fact Zimbabwe is having a similar issue right now, it got so bad they actually invented a $100 million dollar note. A loaf of bread costs like $35 million it says. It's unbelievable.

Ramen besides being valuable canteen for them is valuable because it's got a billion uses. I have even seen videos of people taking Ramen noodles and crafting them into everything from pizza dough to desserts. Say what you want about people in prison but they are some of the most creative people in the world, I swear

The only solution is to wait for the Hippos to invariably wind up attacking and killing someone someday. It's a sad reality but right now they're not viewed as these humongous killing machines because frankly they haven't killed anyone yet. Who knows maybe the better conditions for them in Colombia have made them more calm. More food, less competition, more hippo sex. They're living the dream.

A monument to the flash drive. Profound. Cause that's how they used to have to get everything, external media and almost always black market stuff.

This directly effects Europe. They must do something to help Ukraine. If not just because it's the right thing to do, you have to understand WHY Putin really wants Ukraine. Yes, he wants to be able to send his oil through Ukraine with little to no tariffs. That's part of it, sure. But Ukraine is the doorway to Europe, both in and out. Whoever controls Ukraine basically controls Europe from the Russian standpoint. Putin isn't going to stop at Ukraine. People keep talking about the tanks and weapons emblazoned with "Z". What does "Z" stand for? West. It means West. They are all entering Ukraine from these various points of invasion but where are they headed? West. Putin was expecting this all to be over by now, that's true, but ultimately he wants a strategic bastion with which to throw his weight around where it really matters for him long term which is against the West.

The most famous lines addicts say to each other especially is "One last time, that's it." That's what it starts out as, every single time. And that one last time can turn into years but the #1 thing all addicts have in common with themselves is their ability to rationalize the use one way or another. It''s not uncommon at all for addicts in groups especially to promise one last time, and even if one means it and others in the group don't, it's like a vicious cycle in a lot of ways.
