Can you imagine if the plot twist is that Blizzard created this thing and designed it in such a way that it actually has slightly higher odds for dropping five star gems as a way to covertly trick people into reinstalling and playing more just like Asmongold did?

The era of MMO's in general is kind of over. Yes some still exist and the ones that are doing well are doing REALLY well, but by and large the era of MMO's is over.

@h.a.9880 The sad thing is, a lot of people can't afford it but do it anyway. These sorts of games tap into a part of human psychology and exploit it, whether it's the desire to "keep up" or simply the thrill of gambling in general which is to spend money with the hopes that you'll make even more money as a result. The problem with this game compared to traditional gambling is it takes advantage of the same parts of the human brain but at least with gambling there is a chance you will get your money back or even make a profit. It's not a good chance but the chance is still there. When it comes to this it's all the negative aspects of the same psychological phenomenon but the chance you'll recoup anything of actual value is literally zero. The only way you'll get any of that money back is if you decide to sell your account later but you won't get nearly the amount back that you ever put in and in fact Blizzard might even ban the account if they ever found out it was sold because it negatively effects their bullshit bottom line.

$15 times 1,000,000 = $150 million dollars. Diablo Immortal is making approximately $1 million a day. $30 million a month. So no, WoW is still making more than Diablo Immortal. By quite a large margin.

He didn't "almost win the Republican nomination". In fact, he wasn't even close. STILL, yeah, all these people like "Don't give Ted Cruz" a platform don't get it. He's giving Asmongold the platform in actuality. The idea that a senator from any political party wants to talk to him about gambling elements and loot boxes in video games makes me wonder if I am still asleep, even in my wildest dreams I never saw something like that happening.

It's this but it's also the fact that they know that after a certain amount of time, NOBODY is going to PvP BECAUSE of the gigawhales and they don't want people to get discouraged from spending any money when they see that there are going to be a LOT of instances when nobody is available to play so the "looking for PvP" thing will literally not be able to find anybody. They don't want people to realize it so they have a designated time for people to all show up to show off their e-peens in droves and make it look like it has a really robust PvP community when in reality it's going to be the same like 50-100 people over and over and over and over and over. I wouldn't be surprised if they mask people's names in matches too to give the impression there's more people doing it than not. I feel genuinely sorry but also ashamed of anybody that spend even $1 on this piece of shit game.
