You basically should never use these strats with a girl you're dating. That's one you learn pretty quickly that you're never right, she is, and honestly I genuinely believe that any relationship where a man can (and does) win arguments with his girl/wife is doomed to have that one fail.

Well, debate wasn't cool back then and it's not cool now. But if I was the kind of person who got excited about debate I imagine not only was he doing it but he was phenomenally good at it, as well. A natural, even. He was also getting some renown for playing violin basically nearly at a professional level at the time as well.

I think he would win if he ran, too, that'll be a few more elections though, he's still a bit young yet. Look out for him to run for Senate though pretty soon, as soon as 2020 or 2022. That'd be a good starting point down the road to eventually being president one day anyway. Actually nvm I just read and he could technically run in 2020. He will have just barely made the minimum age requirement to run. And of course yes this would mean he'd be running against Trump, which I dunno how wise or unwise that'd be. I don't doubt that Ben could win but the problem with running against a sitting president is incumbent's win 90% of the time statistically. But that's when we're talking normal politicians, Donald Trump has successfully offended so many people at this point even Republicans are ready to jump ship on him.

Nah it's more than that, he plays 3d chess with people when debating. He knows how to ask them questions that will bolster his point before they even realize he's asking them questions that will bolster his point. He's like Steven Crowder on crack with a yamaka.

@nikibronson133 I mean, but he wouldn't be destroying and owning people if he didn't come armed with facts. If he's "destroying and owning" people it's because his arguments are better. And that generally means he's coming with the truth than not. While I agree that debates are about challenging ideas and educating each other, I would posit he does exactly that. Particularly with people who otherwise maybe haven't thought about an issue the way he would like you to before. The fact he can do that is a testament to the man himself and his ability to do what he does which is essentially he's a professional orator. But no, I think as much as debates are about what you said, the main thing a debate is meant for as serving as a vehicle with which we might arrive at the truth about an issue. It's an adversarial form of conversation where the only thing that is common with all forms of debate is that the two people debating fundamentally must disagree first, with the winner being the one who more successfully conveys his point to "educate" and "challenge ideas" within the audience itself. I get it, you're a liberal and you think with your heart more than your brain and that's a problem, but he's never coming with anything but facts when it comes to debates and that's why he's won so many of them.

@nikibronson133 .... there's medication for what you have. de·bate verb argue about (a subject), especially in a formal manner. "the board debated his proposal" That's the Google definition of what it means to debate. I understand, you think an argument has to be emotionally fueled and probably a little bit fueled by alcohol as well where it's not truly an argument till your stepdad slaps your little sister, but what professional debaters do is argue with each other. Period. It is for the enlightenment of the audience. It's very much an intellectual pursuit, and I think everyone who pursues it seriously is an intellectual whether I agree with them or not. Ben Shapiro's won more debates than he's lost. He is good at it. Whether you like him or not. Anyways, yeah get lost we're not going to find much agreement here I'm afraid and your writing is atrocious. Unintentionally certainly but it appears to be the ramblings of a madman.
