  1. He's just a very principled person, like... in a world full of betrayers and people who would love nothing more than to take the Iron Throne for themselves just because they want it... THAT is why Jon Snow will get it. He also has the best claim now as we know it but make no mistake, when he learns it he's going to reject it if only because he's SO principled he swore fealty to Dany and he meant it... until she dies, of course. It will happen. Sorry. But like every other position of power he's been granted he will accept it reluctantly if only because the people insist he does.
