I am sure people who do this for real are either selling the bills for REAL currency (something like $10 fake dollars for $1 real dollar, something like that) so then you can go in and buy the car with REAL money that you got by selling fake money OR find a way to launder the fake bills into real money (like successfully deposit it into a bank or something even though that sounds incredibly foolish). There's a couple of different ways to swing it but invariably you're gonna get caught and this is the kind of thing that isn't even handled by the FBI, it's handled by the Secret Service IIRC. And if they wanna catch you, they will.
