This is not the first time that the US government has admitted we have come in contact with things we couldn't identify or even explain. It's important to realize that this does NOT mean that they have to be aliens, but the thing is the US military has some of the most advanced tech (if not the most advanced) in the entire world. So if we can't explain some of the otherwise impossible maneuvers these crafts were undertaking, as in we don't have the means to do it yet, it does beg the question then WHO in this world can? Nobody we know of. That's why it's so jarring because the only logical explanation is they're not of this world. Or at best they're not of this time line. I guess it's possible they could be people from the future who figured out time travel. Somehow aliens still seems more likely.
