Ibogaine is another one. That actually is a miracle psychedelic, people have detoxed over a powerful period of a few days from things as strong as Methadone. You do need a babysitter/shaman in that case, and the flip side of that is you can also actually die but the chances of that are small. There's a great video of a British person who was addicted to methadone, hopelessly it seemed, and got clean with Ibogaine. It used to be all in one video, but it's in 5 part pieces now apparently (I cant' find the full one) but it's BBC's Detox or Die. Just look for Pt 1/5 and then go from there. All the parts are up I checked. It's amazing, it's miraculous even.

"I chose to do this in Kentucky because these people need it the most" That's a Jesus move right there. Jesus accepted everyone but he in particular roamed around with what would've been considered the dregs of society. The forsaken. Because they NEEDED him the most.

That's a huge accomplishment my friend! Every day is just one more under your belt. You are doing great, keep it up.

That one girl Tina her friend gave her some pretty good advice there. She's a nice, good looking girl, but it doesn't matter when you don't feel that way inside. And more importantly he's right that she probably has and does attract the wrong kind of people with that energy and abusive types in particular because they have a very good sense of when someone is "broken" inside or not. Easier to latch onto.

@carmahfk7399 It IS a hallucinogen, whoever was meant to be watching her clearly wasn't doing a very good job. It's worked for more people than it hasn't, from what I understand. You really need to a) know for a fact that what you're getting is Ibogaine and b) hope that it's prepared by someone who knows what they're doing, who will also administer it the correct way, with correct doses and frequency. This person is akin to a shaman who administers ayahuasca treatments and then supervises the "patient" to make sure their ghetto ass doesn't run off to Wal-Mart only to get caught huffing dust in the parking lot or whatever unbelievable story your ex-fiance told you for whatever reason even though you were ex's at that point. "Hey there I know I told you I hated your guts and you said the same but you won't believe what just happened to me in Mexico!" ............... Do your own research if you're addicted to opiates but I think you have every right to look into all options, whether you want to spend the next 5-10 years or more on maintenance drugs like Suboxone or Methadone or you want to roll the dice and try to get off the shit altogether assuming you can find real Ibogaine and someone worth a shit to make sure you don't die or do anything stupid during the detox process, look into all your options.

@carmahfk7399 OK, I know over 20 people who have had success with stuff other than Suboxone or Methadone. Everyone I know on Suboxone or Methadone is still on it or dead. The few people I know who have tried alternative therapies like Ayahuasca, Ibogaine and even Kratom Tea (to a lesser extent) have all reported success with it. I personally know of at least 20 stories and I know two people personally who have completely detoxed from Methadone and one actually detoxed from Heroin itself using Ibogaine. One thing I imagine you have to look out for when going to a place like Mexico is make sure you know for a FACT it's legit. If they have tourist traps for everything else in Mexico, I can imagine they'd have something like that for people who are just trying to get clean in Mexico as well. People get ripped off down there all the time. So to that end I guess maybe giving you the benefit of the doubt is it possible it was fake Ibogaine? Or that you got ripped off for lack of a better word? And I even mentioned there wasn't a 100% success rate, I don't think it's fair to say anything in this world is 100%. I just said it differently, I said "the only downside is you could possibly die". It's very rare, but yeah, most people's definition of "Ibogaine didn't work for me" is "It killed me" not "It made me really sick and bitchy in Mexico".
