Baphomet has nothing to do with Satanism, but because on a surface level it looks like a representation of the Devil people automatically think it's a Satanic image. It's not though. From what I understand it represents duality in life, which is why one hand points towards the heavens while another points towards the Earth. Some Satanists believe that because Christians pray upward they're wasting their efforts, but Satanists on the other hand send their energy downward towards the soil. Very few Satanists actually believe they're worshiping an entity like Christians may believe they're worshiping God and Jesus, however some do. A very small percentage of them think Satan is real and worship him accordingly, those people are known as retards.

@nataliagonzalez1698 Fair enough, I am just saying it's in a nation's best interests and always has been/always will be that they have a defined list of coded language that spells out what is and isn't allowed. Stuff that usually is in the benefit of society, like "thou shalt not murder" or "thou shalt not steal". I started to say replace "God" with the word "Government" but that doesn't even 100% work, either. Anyway I think that'd be more beneficial, if anything is, than baphomet, something most people do not understand and don't even care to (it's a good thing they mentioned they're not personally Satanic themselves, because the Baphomet has nothing to do with Satanism).

Honestly and I am being completely honest here I think that the Ten Commandments should be in front of every courthouse in the country. Not for anything to do with religion, which the Baphomet by extension is entirely religious by comparison, the Ten Commandments as the Senator said is one of the first pieces of "law" in written human history. They're more really like "Don't do anything evil" guidestones than anything to do with religious, things society has benefited from forever. Such as "Thou shalt not kill" and therefore every human civilization in the entire world has had punishments for murder, etc. It has less to do with religion to me than it does with simple law and order.
