Nobody can navigate opiates responsibly. Doctors themselves don't even understand the pharmacological nature of addiction they just prescribe what the pamphlets told them to prescribe. But opiates literally trigger something in your brain that essentially shuts down the production of "natural" happiness in the brain because you just bombarded it with a mega dose of serotonin so it figures it doesn't need to make it's own anymore, at least for a while. So someone who is addicted one of the first things their brain has to learn how to do is start making it's own serotonin again, this is why one of the #1 symptoms of opiate withdrawal is acute depression. Forget the physical aspect of things, that's surely part of it as well. It's not fun at all though.

At what point do you tell Dan Crenshaw there's an entire spectrum of cannabis, from Sativa to Indica and all the hybrids in between. So if he had a sativa and felt it was too cerebral for him, he might like a nice indica instead to help him relax. Or vice versa. I used to think I was a sativa guy only to find out really I am more into hybrids and indicas.

Joe Rogan said "I could've had several hits before the show and it would've been the same podcast" OK, so why do it then? You clearly don't mean "It would've been the same" so maybe don't say it that way. You just mean "I would've been able to pull the interview off just the same" also let's be completely honest with ourselves you're Joe Rogan, there's no way you didn't light something up before the show.
