  1. The conquistadors used to take their scimitars to native americans, men women and children, and make a game out of who could carve the cleanest slice through the victim's mid section. A vast majority of the native population died as a result.

  2. Yes, really. I mean that's just one way they were killing Native American's but yeah they'd do that and the idea was to see who could basically cut through an entire person. Whether they did or not, naturally they usually died.
