  1. I don't even consider Joe a comedian. So it doesn't surprise me that these jokes are lost on him. He's more of a meat head that dabbles in funny culture.

  2. Is it like a stylistic choice with these rockstars or what? Like Brann Dailor from Mastodon for instance, he's got a gold tooth or two in his mouth. Josh Homme here, he's got a silver or gold tooth as well. That's like a poor man's choice for replacing a tooth, traditionally speaking, but I think it might be done for aesthetic purposes in their case.
