  1. "Face the music, face the music" they're telling him, and he says "Great! Let's pick the song!" after saying he doesn't care if he goes to prison or not. He wants to do it in such a way that he can control the narrative, which is smart. They'll never agree to let him have his version, though, and with every fiber in my body I can't encourage him to double down on his Russian lessons enough. He'll never be allowed to come home without consequence, he's done too much damage to the powers that be and they're livid.

  5. I've seen people compare him to Otacon and basically it's about as accurate as there ever will be. No, he's not responsible for developing a nuclear-equipped giant robot with good intentions only to see it being used for evil then siding with Solid Snake to save the day. But he's responsible for creating something arguably even more scary than that, something that was developed for good intentions ostensibly (to prevent crime and terrorist attacks, etc.) only to find that it's being used more AGAINST the people than FOR them.

  6. "You've talked about returning home if you can get a fair trial". I don't care what they tell you, if you come back, you will not get a fair trial. It's gonna take a presidential pardon, basically. Anything that revolves around getting a "fair trial" won't be possible.
