It's wild to think that this movie was kind of panned when it first came out but it became a sort of cult classic especially in the hoods across America. Scarface is synonymous with the American Dream

@marshallwestpoint8958 been a while since I played that game but I don't remember the Tiger mission. I played it on PC though I forget how it came into my possession. Is it GTA? No. It's not bad though, kinda actually really fun at times too. And certain aspects of that game actually were better than GTA (at the time) like I loved the feeling it gave you, you really did feel like a cocaine kingpin throwing around all the kilos you do in the game and the idea to actually make drug selling a mechanic was actually before even a GTA title did something like that (well, basically). Chinatown Wars IMO still did drug dealing as a minigame the best.

@f430ferrari5 I always thought he was saying "the other guy's GREEN" but "GREED" is what he's saying. For sure.

realistic he'd set up all these companies to launder money unrealistic he'd be showing up with duffel bags at the bank

@generalping999 And yet went to the bank with dirty cash anyway. I know he did, it's in the montage with all his fake Montana companies. It's just ... if you're a drug dealer in America don't go to the bank with millions in cash. There's better ways to do it.

this montage changed everything

You don't get where Tony got by just being satisifed with one bag. You also don't get far in general, apparently, he failed to learn the most important lesson which of course was "Don't get high on your own supply". That and his moral and ethical code didn't have any place in the world he found himself inhabiting professionally. I do think that the Colombian should've probably aborted the mission if he knew that it was going to involve kids, it's just like Biggie Smalls said in the Notorious movie when he was dealing, he'd have no problem selling to some crackhead mother that either had kids with her or was apparently pregnant (I forget) but he's like "I ain't no social worker". One thing to sell to a drug addicted mother, another to kill an entire family just to kill a dude. And Tony Montana didn't want anything to do with that. But killing his assassin was probably the final straw that truly led to war with Sosa.
