@trextor23 I'm a muslim too, and i must say ur standard is very weird. If my husband can think of marrying someone else despite having me, it simply means he is not loyal. Being a baby mama or in a polygamy relation is both horrible for me and i would prefer none. I would rather marry a single man who would always stay loyal, love and respect me. If not i would rather stay single than adjusting for a random man. And this is my standard🙂

Polygamy? Empowering to women? If my husband has multiple wives, i would be ashamed to be known as his wife. Prolly punch him on the face and divorce him, I'm not competing for some dumb man.

@nasserashraf360 yupp but those men shdnt be encouraged either. Wat is wrong, is WRONG. Ppl out there marry many women and make islam look unfair in front of other religions. And those other ppl have such a bad impression abt islam for the fact its unfair to women. So its necessary to spread ryt info, or dont talk abt it at all. Always remember brother, whenever u feel this is how its supposed to be, then rem that Allah SWT is also known as the "most just" he will never make rules that will make women feel useless and worthless in front of men.

@rickmartin541 nobody needs women like her in this century. If its genuinely her choice, i do respect it. But if she was forced then this is nowhere ok....a girl who could have done so much for the society, gained respect, earned money, helped ppl on her own, have a job, have a name... is now selling perfume and living with a narcissistic man. Its extremely unbelievable that she might have done this on her own will.

@andreeaboloca246 the thing is her that choice was extremely weird. She gave up her PhD, like ok....no problem, millions do that. But then she literally married a man who is already married with kids, who is not even financially stable and not even capable of being loyal (filled with greed of marrying more and never be satisfied) and then finally ended up selling perfume prolly coz the money wasnt enough to support her "beloved" husband's multiple family and kids. She didnt even use her masters degree and worked as a reputed engineer(she could have helped 1000s with her own money), to the world she is just a second wife of a crazy muslim man, no identity of her own. If she wanted to work from home and marry a man like this...why did she even do masters and waste her parents money? The entire situation is so crazy that ppl r forced to critcise. And i personally dont think a women with PhD level ability will make such a dumb choice on her own without being forced.

@andreeaboloca246 lemme tell u one thing, if a man truly loves his first wife, he would never bring a 2nd second wife. Periodt. U cant "love" multiple woman at the same time. Its not biologically possible. If a man needs more women despite having a wife and kids, then... 1. Its utterly disgusting 2. He is not loyal 3. He definitely doesnt love u or cares abt ur feelings 4. Is greedy and selfish 5. Probably needs to be punched on his face and divorced. No place for untrustworthy ppl. 🙂

@benet9582 no it is not allowed. U can raise ur voice at ur wife if she is truly wrong( likewise even she has the ryt to correct her husband if he is not ryt) but beating is not allowed. If a women doesnt serve her husband, she gets spanked and what if the man doesn't serve his wife? does he also get spanked? No ryt? Then how is this fair? Allah is known as the "most just" of all...then how can he allow this injustice? If a women is arrogant and does smth really wrong, then Allah SWT will punish her accordingly.

@ismth in the quran it is mentioned "if you are afraid that you wont be able to deal justly with 4 wives, marry only one" this verse shows that monogamy is superior than polygamy in islam. You can do ur own research if u want.

@nasserashraf360 ofcourse it is allowed in that case. As i told polygamy has conditions. So in this situation u can marry that single mum if ur first wife is ok with it.

@Who Cares? idk which hadith u read, but thats certainly not true. Islam is not against love, and encourages to marry the person whom u love and be loyal to them. Our prophet said "the best of those who are best to their wives" polygamy was allowed only to protect certain women who are oppressed by the society not for a man's desires. Coz scientifically women have more desires than men due to multiple hormones, so quran wouldn't favour man's desires as islam follows science. Polygamy has variety of conditions which if not followed, polygamy becomes forbidden. But some disgusting men ignore those conditions.

@andreeaboloca246 Polygamy is only encouraged by the Quran where it concerns "oppressed or the orphans among women" (4:3), if justice can be done by marrying more than one. Islam has allowed polygamy only for the reason of protecting oppressed women who r not accepted by many societies. polygamies are extremely disadvantageous in today's world. I have seen many women suicide coz of this. It breaks family, kids tend to have grudges, man also faces problems jugling bw families and paying for many wives and children, all for wat? Thats why islam encourages monogamy more. It is clearly stated in quran that " if justice cant be done it is forbidden for a man to many 4 wives" so u saying having more than one wife is a "good deed" is utterly nonsense. Coz non of the women this man married was orphan or needed financial support. Infact he is the one who is poor. His wives r very well educated and didnt need any of his help

Phd would give her respect and reputation, a muslum girl with a phd would be a big thing. She could do a reputatable job, earn money, become independent, serve the world and help the poor with her own money. Wat did she achieve being a 2nd wife of a narcissistic man, who doesn't even love her, a person who would genuinely love u will never think of bringing more women. She is just publicly criticised for her dumb choices. I personally think she was forced coz a woman with phd level ability will never make such a dumb choice of marrying an already married unemployed man

Women have extreme pain tolerance capacity(way more than men) as well as they gain mental maturity faster than men. Their physical strength ratio is equal to men. And yes for ur information, there r many women civil engineers who pour CEMENT and build their own houses. Also i wonder if u k about women warriors, who had won many wars historically, and even now there r many moroccon female warriors out there, who fight for their country. And wat did u just say? Men gave US freedom?! The little freedom that Women have today was after various movements and struggles led by women THEMSELVES. Men only knew how to take away ryts. @dunmill9632 as a pre med student, both men and women have BIOLOGICALLY equal capabilities. We need the strength of both in this world. I am not a toxic feminist, i simply believe in equality, if someone says women r superior to men i would surely disagree. Bcoz both r equal. Historically, women never got the chance to prove themselves, thats why world was male dominated, coz women were always considered inferior, and women themselves believed that they were inferior. But now due to education and awareness, many ppl r tired of this system, and want their ryts. And currently if u have seen the latest news then women are outshining men in many university exams, and now women's intelligence is actually higher according to statistics. Also there r many female warriors, female wrestlers, female bodybuilders etc etc. So ur perspective towards women inferiority doesnt explain the existence of these extremely strong women.

Calling women weak is easy for u, but u couldnt imagine how it would feel to be considered "weak" according to society. The true power of a women always remains a mystery since ppl like u wont even give a chance for girls to prove themselves and their worth. Once a women lifted an entire CAR to save her child. Anyways, considering anyone as inferior or less than me is not in my religion islam. I would think a1000 times upon my capability before calling anyone weak. @SayNoMorePRI omggg u guys literally believe anything without using any of ur sense. Do u actually think more than 2 billion ppl will follow islam if it was that unfair? Prophet's case was a pure exception, he married widows and divorcees from different tribes who were harassed during those times, inorder to protect them and spread islam. He didnt marry for any of his sexual desires since he had kids only with his first wives and not any other wives, dont forget there were no contraceptives during those times and Prophet was quite fertile. He married that 6 yr old girl beckz of her rebellious and curious nature, he married her, treated her like a kid and taught her abt islam, after the death of the prophet aisha ra became a powerful lady who guided many muslims and preached even after the death of the prophet. Most of prophet's wives were older to him, he married a youger girl so that she could spread proper information even after his death since his kids have died. Polygamy is not encouraged in islam, its simply allowed that too with many many conditions but some disgusting men dont read those conditions and simply marry any women they like, for that u need to blame those men and their CULTURE not the entire religion.

@trextor23 majority? U might be talking abt non muslims. Polygamy wasn't allowed to prevent cheating but to protect certain women like orphans, widows, single moms, socially unacceptable women etc. Cheating or zina is already considered a big unforgivable sin in islam, so an honest muslim man who loves and respects his wife will not commit zina. Fear of Allah lies in many men. Idk which disgusting underdeveloped society u belong in, to be brainwashed in such a way.

Polygamy is NOT sunnah. Polygamy is only encouraged by the Quran where it concerns "oppressed or the orphans among women" (4:3), if justice can be done by marrying more than one. Islam has allowed polygamy only for the reason of protecting oppressed women who r not accepted by the society. It is clearly stated in quran that " if justice cant be done it is forbidden for a man to many 4 wives" therefore monogamy is considered superior to polygamy. Also if polygamy is sunnah then why is only 4 wives allowed while prophet had 7-11 wives, if u wanna go with that logic?

Imbesat that newspaper is approved from the Saudi government which moves along Quran which is their constitution. If anything mentioned in the newspaper is wrong with accordance of holy Quran then the journalists will be severely punished. The most severe of punishments is their head cut down. Also i gave direct reference from the Quran u can cross check that if u r not sure. This website which u have mentioned is quite controversial and information of some topics is not very accurate. It often misleads ppl. I could prove this wrong with just one statement...in this website the person who wrote the article mentions that female population is more than men so its not practical to restrict men to only one wife. Yes female population was more in 1950 but currently according to 2020 world population senses male population is approx 2 percent more than women.

Imbesat but the real question is why would u even want 4 wives? If u genuinely love ur wife then u will be loyal to her and never see any other women with the wrong intention. Intention of helping her out of sympathy makes sense....but casually marrying any women just bcoz u want to makes no sense. Marriage is supposed to be beautiful and fair relation. U shd love one,marry her and cherish her for the rest of ur life.
