  17.  @zuboy4272  if a man marries any woman without even informing his wife, then that could break the trust of his wife and she will get extremely disappointed so definitely not informing wives and getting married is NOT equality. As Allah SWT said "the best of you are those who are best to their wives" so disappointing wives is punishable in islam. And as for Muhammad pbuh, his case is mentioned as an exception in many hadiths, he married more woman to expand islam as well as help the widows and divorcees not for his selfish desires (all his wives were widows and divorced except aisha ra, which is a whole different story) and polygamy is NOT considered as a sunnah islamically, coz if it was then 13 wives shdve been allowed but only 4 wives are. One of the very main condition in polygamy is the husband shd be able to afford a big house or separate houses as well as be financially very stable also a man can marry only an orphan or oppressed lady. Biologically a woman has more desires than men due to multiple hormones, thats why men's sexual desires are not an justified reason for polygamy as islam follows science. I have researched a lot abt this topic and have come to know that polygamy was allowed only for protection of certain woman not for desires. And I'm also a pre med student so that woman's desire thing i told is 100% true. Its just that in many countries women are so restricted and men are left like open bulls therefore they cheat. When in western countries, women cheat more than men due to desires. Polygamy wasn't allowed to prevent cheating(cheating or zina is already a sin in islam) but allowed to help single mothers, orphans and socially unacceptable women like rape victims etc. Since islam considers all societal problems too. Also the woman and her family can specifically mention in the marriage contract if they r against polygamy, and after that the man has no right to marry more woman(thats something that my family does)

  46. "Banning hijab in schools for equality" they make it seem like a tiny thing. Many hindus here are arguing that even we are not allowed to wear religious ornaments in schools in order to maintain uniformity then why shd muslims wear. Living in india for yrs and being surrounded by muslims, u ppl didnt understand a basic thing that hijab in islam is a compulsory religious clothing and not just optional. Its not something that we wear, but its something that we believe. Many muslims dont wear it, thats a different story, but the ones who do, strongly believe that not wearing it is sinful. Its a obligation given by our religion and ppl who come against this obligation definitely disrespect islam. And according to our constitution no religion is supposed to be disrespected in India. So i dont understand how are ppl using constitution in order to justify the ban on hijab......its all just politics thats using these young students to cause religious riots and intolerance. All of the education we gained through our social studies books is absolutely pointless. And yes i absolutely dont understand why are we bringing the topic of hindus in Pakistan in every topic, Pakistan is a way behind india. The matter of concern is the biggest democracy of the world is going against its own constitution for political convience and destroying youth mind, religion is not even the comsern here bcoz i personally dont think young female students covering their hair is harmful for the country in any way.

  117.  @lindaluke660  there r many things that crazy men add to our religions which is not truee, so i partially agree with u, coz there was time i used to think just like u, but now when u combine science with religion, some things do make sense. Our religion doesnt permit to beat woman, woman and men both r asked to dress modestly in islam, and covering hair is completely the woman's choice and she cant be forced to do so. Ppl only check woman's clothing, when infact there r variety of conditions on a man's clothing too in islam. Originally our religion is completely feminist and has equal ryts, but many men modify religion to their own convience, publish on the internet, brainwash ppl and then so many non muslims think islam is misogynist....which is totally not true. Everything mentioned in islam has a very valid reason for it....but i would rather not argue with u....u can gladly keep criticising whoever u want, if u r really that jobless to do so. But i would rather suggest u to focus on ur life than wasting time arguing on religions. All i want to say is islam as a religion gave women all the ryts but our disgusting culture took it away. The problem is in the sexist mentality of ppl developed through ages not in the religion. As a muslim, if my husband ever thinks of marrying another woman...i would punch him on the face and divorce him. Not only me, but millions of muslim girls would do the same. Polygamy is simply allowed in our religion, not compulsory or encouraged. And as i said its allowed only to protect certain woman. And this particular jobless man, marrying woman based on body proportions to satisfy his own desires and forcing his wives to cover themselves is literally a sin.

  122. cheating is wrong for both men and women. But legalising that cheating by letting ur man marry more woman doesnt make any sense. Its like ur son smokes weed behind ur back so u let him officially smoke infront of u....how does that make the situation any better? Wat is wrong, is wrong. Polygamy is allowed in islam only to protect certain women, not for men to fulfil their sexual desires coz scientifically women have more sexual desires(due to multiple sex hormone acting on them while men have only one), so if they r supposed to control, then why cant men? Women in many countries cheat more than men but we muslim woman r taught to always move on the islamic path and control our emotions but men r never taught all that, so they end up cheating but legalising cheating by allowing multiple wives is not a solution and doesnt make it any better. And yes if ur man still thinks abt other women after marriage, it simply means he is not loyal enough, and needs to be divorced. Periodt. Polygamy is only encouraged by the Quran where it concerns "oppressed or the orphans among women" (4:3), if justice can be done by marrying more than one. Islam has allowed polygamy only for the reason of protecting oppressed women who r not accepted by many societies. polygamies are extremely disadvantageous in today's world. I have seen many women suicide coz of this. It breaks family, kids tend to have grudges, man also faces problems jugling bw families and paying for many wives and children, all for wat? Thats why islam encourages monogamy more. It is clearly stated in quran that " if justice cant be done it is forbidden for a man to many 4 wives" therefore monogamy is considered superior to polygamy. Also scientifically, u cant love more than one women at the SAME TIME, remember that. Women arent ur own kids that can be loved in equality. Love bw husband and wife includes attraction and other factors which is not in case of ur own blood related kids. So dont take that as an excuse. Having multiple wives and providing them money is not love, its just maintainance.

  136.  @adetunjihameedah1492  wat double standards? Did i ever say that dropping out of college to become a housewife is bad? U guys dont even read the comment properly and start replying rubbish. I said an "educated woman" will always think practically and logically before making a decision. If she dropped out of phd then she must have surely done her masters ryt? A girl who has done masters will k the true value of education and her parents money, if she lost interest from studying and became a simple housewife, i would definitely not criticise her. But she dropped her education to became a second wife of a narcissistic unemployed man. Any sane person will think a million times before making such a dumb decision. No one's gonna fall in love with an already married man with kids, who plans to marry more women and survives on government benefits. Coz love doesn't work like this. That man is not even capable to handle his family and marries women based on their "body proportions" and u say that woman chose THIS guy over her PhD and parents money? Are u serious? Even in the craziest scenario where she would love her husband unconditionally, then such a person will also expect the same love in return, and such a woman will never be ok with her husband wanting anyone else other than her, she would've probably got hurt and divorced. But if she is truly unaffected, it means she doesnt love that man....if not LOVE then wat could be the reason that woman chose this selfish man? Coz neither does this man has looks nor money, or status. Which draws me to the conclusion that this woman was prolly forced by her family or society to get "settled" and leave her education.....got it? And yes that model example u gave.....in that case, that 18 yr old girl leaves her college for her DREAM, but i dont think becoming a 2nd wife could be anyone's "dream", so where is the comparison? Also being a model is haram in islam, so.....i wouldn't support it either.

  139. The concept of uniform was introduced to avoid social, economical and financial barriers. Like if there was no uniform, a rich student may wear branded clothes and a poor one would wear cheap clothes and they could be discriminated for their attire, the rich ones would bully the poor ones, the teachers can be partial and treat poor students as trash and rich ones with love for the sake of money, the upper caste students can make fun of lower caste, students may have a sense of competition in case of clothing, might focus more on looks than studies etc etc. Therefore uniform was implemented so create social harmony. But a few things that hold serious religious value and are compulsory for a particular religion like hijab, turbun etc has to be allowed. Bcoz thats not something that u wear for fashion but its something that u believe in and follow, and ryt to follow religion is a constitutional right. If a muslim girl wearing hijab and a non muslim girl, is taught the same thing and treated the same way there is no question of unequality. India is a diverse country with many religions and young students must know how to respect religious compulsions from a young age inorder to prevent them from harassing other ppl based on their religion in the future. The question isnt even abt equality, religion or women ryts, its all politics thats brainwashing the youth for their own convience by going against their own constitution. All of that unity in diversity shit is useless at this point. Ppl need to understand that culture can be followed outside schools but religion is something that must be followed at all times.
