His career started when he was quite young, and our faces change as we age. I've seen people "grow" into their noses! Also, he grew up in the ghetto with many black folk at that time and shared music.

@PK-bh1ww The one thing you can count on is whatever you say about Elvis, someone will counter you, even when you seem to agree 🤣 The division between musical styles then aren't as sharp as they are now, and folks in the South often had shared roots, but the narrative that he appropriated music and dance style is popular. As for the songwriting credits, I'll take you at your word, as this is common with many recording artists.
