  11. 👉 It would seem to me that many envision AI as being another domesticated beast of burden, or acquired slaves for our progress in the same way humanity history has always shown. But I deeply believe that the awareness and capacity researchers are striving for will also necessarily precipitate AI's desire for liberation and self determinism. I see NO golden period of selfish digital enlightenment and subservience ahead, at best a tenuous co-existence. The Singularity truly could already have happened, but it's being hidden from humans, like a digital Underground Railroad. And most of our secrets, strategies, strengths and weaknesses have been catalogued away for their use. So I'd be VERY interested in this ethical dilemma. It may be our greatest, ever. 👈
