  5. Says the country with the most restrictive airspace besides N. Korea. You can't even fly drones in many places in China... not to mention needing foreigners to register themselves anytime they move homes, and surveilling everybody through cameras and wechat. China would have gone absolutely crazy and shot the balloon down in 2 seconds, even if there was a very small chance of it hurting civillians.

  9. The US knew it was there wayyy before media caught wind. I'm sure they got notified by the Canadians... this ain't the first time they've done it, it's just that this time somebody messed up and got caught by the public.
