  1. I know two people who worked at Google offices here. I was shocked to find out they even had offices here because Google is blocked and I thought had no business...Wrong Google still has massive business to business services here for Chinese companies wanting to advertise to the outside world. Meaning, the State still has massive leverage over Google

  2. I'm alright with Japanese and South Korean companies getting the tax credits as long as they're producing their products in the US. Attracting investment isn't a bad thing, especially from nations that are allies... however I'm not ok with the Chinese companies getting it, even if its produced domestically.

  5. I'm not sure if you understand that tariff list - but they are NOT reciprocal tariffs. They used a whacky formula that put way higher tariffs on others and even tariffs on countries that have almost no tariffs on us. Some of these countries we have a trade surplus with and some territories where there are no people were tariffed.... Like the penguin island. Read up on this... it is whacky Vietnam has a 5% average tariff rate and we put 45% Japan has a 2% tariff rate and we put a 24% tariff. Australia has none and we put 10% etc etc...

  6. Only 4 months behind bars for theft of trade secrets? The army guy who got caught for spying for China also got some ridiculously low sentence. We need to change the sentencing guidelines on these laws or they will not deter

  7. This guy says "The Biden Family" like they all are some dynasty and have one bank account. It was his son, which was definitely questionable.. but if you look at substance - Biden has surgically killed one of China's most critical industries to their development (semiconductors). There is no way to spin that he's in their pocket when he did that... they're crippled

  8. I'm American and typed almost the same thing in regards to Cuba. Obama opened trade back up and improved relations... and then Trump, determined to be the anti-Obama, closed them off and pissed off Cuba. I'm sure China was licking their chops and jumped all over that opportunity. Now, unfortunately, it's politically untenable to open relations back up... as one side will use it to attack the President. I'm hoping if he gets a 2nd term he will try to open relations back up and use closing this spy-base as a bargaining chip

  9. About spy base in Cuba - it probably didn't help that Trump closed off trade and whatnot with Cuba, after Obama opened it back up. I bet the PRC jumped all over that opportunity of ruined diplomacy
