Comments by "Vale Tudo" (@valetudo1569) on "US is 'leaning hard' on Italy to leave the BRI, not because it is bad for Italy: Jeffrey Sachs" video.
Hmm I don't think this gentleman is accurate. Italy has stated more than once that all the BRI did was increase imports from China but not much the other way.. this simply was a cost with none of the promised benefits. This is verifiable in their trading data. Not just something that's made up

Actually quite the opposite. He always parrots Beijing's message. I also find it odd that these CNBC international videos almost always get very little views - but this one, that happens to be favorable to Beijing - somehow gets so many views and attention? And your comment gets so many upvotes with very little comments? I would not be shocked if these are fake and bot accounts pushing this up

@chew5461 Absolute nonsense. Anyways, all the more reason for Italy to ditch the BRI then right. No reason to be China's dumping ground
2
@jetli740 Losing to bots? lol are we playing a video game or something
1
@pausereflect5911 The way you guys all type does not seem authentic. All of this wreaks of WuMao or bot account nonsense. No matter how hard yo guys try to make people think China = good and US = bad guy - it's not gonna do much... because the facts on the ground still stink
1
@jetli740 Its just weird how these videos by CNBC international get zero attention, and all of a sudden you guys are all over this like flies on hot shit when its about something important to Beijing. Replying back quickly in rapid fire manner to me because what I say isn't pro China. You aren't gonna be changing anybody's mind with your silly propaganda campaign
1
@slappyfun So can countries like Italy possibly be changing their own minds?
1
@slappyfun Yeah but there is a problem whenever any country does anything that China doesn't like, the automatic default is to revert to "US puppet masters!" as if nobody can make any decisions for themselves, and its always the US intervening. Maybe, just maybe, Italy didn't like the outcome of the deal and Italy itself decided it wanted to leave. The numbers in trade data support that

@apt62 China would be nowhere without the US helping it when it was underdeveloped. China is the King of playing dirty, ask it's neighbors in Asia
1
@suckmemore Maybe only in your media-bubble and online circles. Mainstream media is called "mainstream" for a reason - it's the biggest and most viewed news media around the world.
1
@billinsf88 I think you're missing my point
1
@jetli740 I don't think so at all. The guy in the video is a known Pro China guy, who always parrots their messages. If Italy was getting the benefit it thought it would from the BRI - it would stay in it. That isn't the case
1
@billinsf88 So you're being a bit disingenuous. While Italy's trade went up 3.5 billion, China's went up almost 20 billion. Trade is a cost and benefit, but the idea is that the benefits outweigh the costs for both. Italy is losing far more than it's gaining, and China is gaining far more than it's losing. So enough with your bias, cherry picked nonsense. Italy absolutely has economic and even Geo-strategic reasons for cancelling this deal. You and all your buddies here smell like shills, just like the guy in this video
1
@chew5461 Exactly why Italy wants out. They aren't getting the benefits that they were told they would get, so its time to choose to leave
1
@rap3208 Oh yes, the common excuse that the US is the reason everybody is being mean to China. How about accepting some responsibility and stop constantly pointing the finger at others
