  1. Your comment went south with the Bretton Wood thing. You, just like most of the gold standard people, don't understand how currencies work. US got cheap goods from China but they were also supposed to open their markets in return, not just sell cheap goods... that didn't happen. They also subsidize their industries like crazy which goes against fair trade practices so the money more flows their way. In addition, Kyle is talking about US money through investment, not money through Temu for cheap goods.
