  2. Because China has become aggressive and malignant. China needs the chips to update their military and attack Taiwan...which is a massive geostrategic and security threat to Japan. So if you don't understand why they're doing all of this, there is a good chance that there is a lot of information you are missing.

Let me remind you that China has "Anti-Japanese Museums" all over the country and teaches from a very young age to hate Japan...even until this day. It has countless propaganda movies and currently has massive conflicts with Japan in the East China Sea.
