  1. About the economic nationalism and lack of support for trade agreements: Its not good but we should look at the "why". It's because big business and leadership did not allow or ensure most Americans took part in the wealth generated from globalization in the form of wage gain and job creation. Cheaper goods were nice but they did not offset the other issues adequately. This created resentment that boiled into the economic nationalism.
