I understand wanting to save lives, as China would likely lose much more than 4 million if they let this thing rip - BUT - if they'd just swallow their patriotism and allow the more effective western vaccines - they wouldn't have to do these kind of extreme measures in the first place. It's the pride and nationalism that has caused this. But when when you've spent years demonizing the west, you have now painted yourself into a corner.
